Meet Marin Bradshaw, J.D.

Marin Bradshaw, J.D. is a law clerk in The Law Office of Wachbrit Braverman, PC.

Marin graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. A National Merit Scholar and a member of Phi Kappa Phi, she also earned minors in Music and Statistics. Her undergraduate work included a semester at the University of Oslo in Norway, where she collected statistics and cultural data for her honors thesis: A cross-cultural study of film ratings.

She attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. While there, she served as President of the Public Interest Law Foundation, as Chair of the peer mentoring program, and on the editorial board of the Education Law Journal. She graduated as one of the top fifty students in her class with the National Association of Women Lawyers Award and the J. Reuben Clark award, the most distinguished recognition offered by the law school.

Marin worked for two years as a law clerk in the Appellate Division of the Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association where she researched and assisted on briefs for criminal appeals and high profile trial work. After leaving Utah, she lived for two years in New York City where she worked as a legal researcher and writer for Kaplan/PMBR, a national bar exam preparation company.

An accomplished pianist and vocalist herself, Marin especially loves jass and classical music. She also enjoys bicycling, and can be seen on the road on Saturday mornings with her four-year-old son riding in a trailer behind her. She is an avid reader, particularly science fiction. An active community volunteer, she has been heavily involved with Cub Scouts and 4-H programs.
